The crane drum assembly is the core component of the crane's hoisting mechanism and traction mechanism. It mainly consists of the drum, drum shaft, gear disc receiver (or large gear), drum hub, bearing housing and bearings. It achieves the lifting of heavy objects by winding the steel wire rope. It directly undertakes the tasks of winding, accommodating and releasing the steel wire rope, converting the rotational motion of the motor into the linear motion of the lifted load or trolley.
